Sex Education
To lift the sexual knowledge of the practitioner and client. Lessons in human sexuality can cover any topic necessary for the client to study. The material is presented interactively and comprehensively. Individual or group education is available. Popular topics include: contraception, sexually transmitted infections, anatomy and sexual health decision making.
Sexual Attitude Restructuring
To open the minds of clients who are negatively restricted by established values and beliefs. People interested in restructuring their attitudes around sexuality so not to stand in a box can undergo an intense process of mental desensitization and re-sensitization of over 100 sexual constructs.
Body & Self Image Restoration
To improve the client’s perception of personal character and appearance. Again, any person can benefit from a guided tour of their current views. Dr. Doe follows a modified version of Hartman and Fithian's bio-psycho-social approach.
Sexuality Repossession
To aid the client in efforts to reclaim sexuality from the distortion that was. Clients whose sexuality is not internalized can take back what was theirs through talk therapy and mind exercises. Various sources may have disrupted natural possession of their own sexuality: society, parents, partners, offenders, paranoia, and drug and alcohol abuse.
Sexual Disassociation
To isolate pleasure from its unhealthy association with stress, fear, pain and/or pressure. This service is of particular importance to women who experience
dyspareunia (pain during intercourse) that then causes symptoms of secondary
vaginismus (tightening of the vagina which prevents penetration). It is also a valuable tool for men who experience erectile difficulty.
Clinical Debriefing
To process clinical terminology and procedures so clients can understand. From a basic pelvic exam to a complicated tubal ligation, physicians may explain the body and prodding of it with language that leaves a person affirming what they might not actually comprehend. Debriefing can assure a person is comfortable with the sexual side effects of medication, new post-surgery sex positions or the limits of the HPV vaccination.
Puberty Transition
To comfort young clients going through puberty especially through those changes that are disruptive. When parents do not have the knowledge or willingness, and the school is not sufficient, Dr. Doe and her extensive experience with youth can explain, comfort and gently move adolescents from one side of puberty to the other.
Gender Transition
To prepare candidates for gender transition by way of the Standards of Care for Gender Identity Disorders. These standards have been established by the Harry Benjamin International Gender Dysphoria Association (HBIGDA-SOC). Anne Harris has been instrumental in helping community members who choose to transition from one gender to another. Dr. Doe's intention is to add to this helping force.
Orientation Integration
To monitor a smooth, natural declaration of the client’s true identity. Coming out does not always need professional attention. For individuals, partners, and families who choose assistance Dr. Doe or one of her referrals are available.
Youth-Parent Resolution
To act as a liaison for parents and teens on the subject of sexuality. Parental guardians for young adults may want a youthful, hip, honest and appropriate educator to act as a moderate between them and their teens. Dr. Doe holds an intermediate position between familial value systems and realistic teen needs. From this position she can smoothly negotiate tricky cross-generational conflict especially post-sexual onset.
Interpersonal Sexual Conflict
To counsel individuals with the intent of reducing cognitive dissonance.
The theory of cognitive dissonance proposes that people whose beliefs and behaviors are incongruent are more inclined to change their beliefs to match their behaviors than change their behaviors to match their beliefs. This service is helpful in managing paraphilias. It works to modify our actions so that they are no longer in conflict with healthier beliefs.
Disclosure
To practice disclosing statements including a play forward of each scenario to its results. A person might seek out Dr. Doe for suggestions on how to disclose having an STI, being HIV+, what has been done in one's sexual past, what fantasies are unmet, sexual disabilities, infidelity, sexual identity etc.

To mediate the negotiation of structural and textural decisions about relationships. Dr. Doe is skilled at balancing the individual needs, wants and boundaries of each partner in a relationship to achieve a successful common ground.
Sexual Coaching
To coach partners and individuals on their sexual-physical movements. This is the how-to of clinical sexology. It is the initial work before enrichment or enhancement.
Sexual Awakening
To witness clients as they surface repressed or undeveloped parts of their sexualities. This is similar to Sexuality Repossession except that it works with more of the mental rather than the emotional costs to healthy sexual expression.
Sexual Enrichment
To suggest specific techniques, exercises, resources, approaches, and alternatives. These are the advanced studies with Dr. Doe to strengthen the framework of a sexually healthy individual or relationship.
